Deposits

We will require a £350.00 refundable deposit to secure your space. This deposit will be returned during your child’s last month at the nursery.

Fees

We offer a range of funded and privately paid childcare options. Fees vary depending on your child’s age, funded entitlement and chosen sessions. Please contact our nursery management team for an individual fee breakdown and information about available places.

Session Timings

At Cherish Childcare, we understand that every family is different. That’s why we aim to support your unique needs by offering flexible hours to help make childcare work around your schedule. However, we do ask—where possible—to establish a consistent routine, as this helps children feel secure and supports their development.

Discounts

In an effort to assist and support the families in our nursery community, we are delighted to introduce a special 10% siblings discount. This discount will be applied to the fees of the eldest child in the family and is designed to make quality early education more accessible. Please note that this discount cannot be combined with any other offers or discounts. Our goal is to ensure that each child’s educational journey is not only enriching but also family-friendly, and we’re pleased to extend this benefit to you.

Late Fees

Charges will be applied for children not collected by the end time of their session. Children collected later than the scheduled leave time will be charged £10.00 for the first 10 minutes and £1.00 per minute thereafter, per child. These charges apply to funded and fee-paying children.

Fee payments not received by the date stated on the invoice will be subject to a £20.00 late fee.

Flexible Early Education Funding

We offer free 15 to 30-hour funding either during term time or across the year. These hours are completely free for children from 9 months old. Speak to our Nursery Manager directly for more information on the hours we can offer. 

Subsequently, please be aware that we cannot give back any unused hours or sessions. However, Parents have the flexibility to choose drop-off and pick-up times according to their needs.

We provide a limited number of funded-only sessions, subject to availability.

15 Hours Funded-Only Sessions

Term-Time Option (38 Weeks):

  • Three 5-hour sessions per week 
  • OR one full day  plus one half-day
  • A minimum of two days must be booked

Stretched Funding (51 Weeks):

  • Two 5-hour sessions per week 
  • A minimum of two days must be booked

30 Hours Funded-Only Sessions

Term-Time Option (38 Weeks):

  • Full-day sessions (up to 6 hours) or a combination of full and half-days
  • A minimum of two days must be booked

Stretched Funding (51 Weeks):

  • 22 hours per week, bookable as full-day or half-day sessions
  • A minimum of two days must be booked

 

Additional rates

At Cherish Childcare, we offer additional care options beyond funded hours to provide families with flexibility. These are available as full-day or half-day sessions.

Full-Day Rate (up to 6 hours)

  • Children aged 3 months to 2 years→ £100
  • Children aged 2 years and older → £90

Half-Day Rate (Up to 3 Hours)

  • Children aged 3 months to 2 years → £70
  • Children aged 2 years and older → £65

Please note: We do not offer hourly rates—additional care must be booked as either a full-day or half-day session.

To work out your monthly fees:

Multiply the number of funded-only hours per week by 51, then divide by 12.

e.g.
30 (funded hours per week) x  51/12  or 15 (funded hours per week) x 51/12
